Our bread is handmade with love, and we transfer it into your hands with the hope that you will care for it as much as we do. Here are a few simple ways to love your bread.
Store bread in an airtight container. Our bread contains no preservatives and will last up to 3 – 4 days on the counter. However, airflow is the enemy. When exposed to air, the bread will get sad and turn stale.
Slice your bread from the middle outwards. After extracting your slice, push the two ends of the loaf together to protect the middle from being exposed to air.
If you want bread to last longer than a few days, simply slice the bread and freeze in an airtight container. Bread reheats really well in the toaster oven!
Re-purpose left over bread. We do our part in reducing waste by being a zero-plastic bakery and making all our loaves to order. To further reduce waste, we encourage people to turn days-old bread into croutons or a lovely bread pudding. Yupp, that includes the end pieces too!
Of course, the best way to love your bread? Cherish every bite!
Remember, your loaf loves you back 🙂
